Local and ecological above all else !

The Andalusian Aloe Vera plantations are the most ancient in the western world.  They date back to the Spanish occupation by the Moors in the 8th Century.

We have the advantage of centuries-old know-how that comes from tradition on how to grow Aloe Vera.

Our plantation is a hill close to Malaga that is exclusively devoted to the organic cultivation of Aloe Vera and organic tropical fruit.

This polyculture alows the soil to retains its organo-mineral balance and its natural richness in trace elements directly assimilable by the body.

This auto-immune plant does not need any additive, regulated and regular irrigation is enough to make it grow, together with sufficient sunshine (approximately 300 days per year on our plantation).  Its water requirements are supplied by a spring and two huge reservoirs of rainwater.

A plant is mature when it reaches between 4 and 5 years, at which time the aloe has its optimum potential of nutritional ingredients.

NaturAloé prohibits any crop before this and avoids the storage by producing over demand, for a maximum of fresness.

Constant monitoring of the plantations is essential, maintenance and and harvesting are only manually.

The plant reaches a height of between 60 and 90 cm. Its fleshy leaves measure 40 to 50 cm in length and 6 to 10 cm in width.  It reproduces by sprouting or pollination; the sprouting method is the only one that enables the original qualities of the Aloe Vera to be retained. Pollination may lead to harmful degeneration.
